EAC Introduces the Campaign Bracket Challenge
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Election Assistance Commission (EAC), announces today the Campaign Bracket Challenge.
This new bi-annual challenges provides voters with a change to win a substantial purse if they guess the winner of each presidential and congressional election.
"Anything that motivates citizens to engage more deeply with electoral data and diverse political viewpoints is a net positive for democracy," said the EAC representative. "We've observed how march madness brackets can engage millions of Americans. If we could channel even a fraction of that enthusiasm into learning about our electoral process, we might see a significant increase in civic engagement and voter knowledge."
