FEC Proposes Build PACs
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Federal Election Commission (FEC), proposes today to replace Super PACs with Build PACs.
The Build PACs proposal aims to revolutionize campaign finance by requiring political fundraising groups to invest half their unlimited donations in public infrastructure projects, while gaining advertising rights on what they build.
"It's a simple concept: if we are going to allow unlimited political donations, why not require half to build something lasting?," said the FEC representative. "While unconventional, this approach does something remarkable - it ensures every unlimited political donation builds something tangible for communities. Instead of being bombarded with TV ads, we could see political groups competing to build the projects our community needs most."
